Feeling extremely full we left Katz’s Deli and made our way into Greenwich Village.  Again another area of New York that I had wanted to visit.  We were also on the look out for the famous Magnolia Bakery.  SBA had wanted to visit he first location which is in Greenwich Village.  Again my trusty pop-up map came in handy and we made our way from Houston Street to find Bleecker Street.  SBA and I were thrilled to find Mulberry Street, on route, but sadly no Mulberry store.

We passed an open square which was very busy for an early evening and on route we found some lovely boutiques.

However, what we noticed were that parts of Greenwich Village felt very dark yet it was only the early evening.  Once you got to cross roads it did get lighter.  Having never visited Greenwich Village before I was a bit disappointed as I had expected it to be like George Town in Washington D.C. which I absolutely loved.

By this time we were all extremely tired from travelling and walking that we made our way back to the hotel for some much needed R&R.
