Surely I can’t be the only one thinking that 2014 has gone by in such a flash?.  For me it’s been a year of contrasts.  As a blogger I’ve had another wonderful year.  I was chosen as an exclusive blogger for Grand Central in Birmingham plus the blog was highly commended in the Birmingham Press Club Media Awards 2014. I have had the pleasure of meeting more bloggers in person and not just chatting online.  It is their encouragement and support, plus those of  my lovely readers who inspire me to continue writing. In contrast behind the scenes I have been trying to come to terms with loosing someone very precious to me.  Whilst I haven’t written specifically about this, it has inspired quite a few of my blogs posts.  Here are my favourite highlights from 2014.
