After the rush to finish for the holiday season, life lately has seen me slowing down and indulging in quality time with family and friends. I was lucky to enjoy two weeks of late nights and lazy mornings, with no alarm to wake up to. It was pure bliss.  Over the festive days we got back to basics and enjoyed playing games.  Whether individual or team games, our competitive streak always seems to creep in. Afternoons were spent in the Cotswolds, taking in the country air and enjoying the winter sunshine.  We explored more of Chipping Campden.  Dreaming of living here someday.  We were ‘Ladies Who Lunch’ enjoying eating in our favourite places.  Tracey and I celebrated her birthday in style with brunch at The Balcony, in Selfridges, Birmingham.  New Year in the Cotswolds was a fun affair and New Years Day brought a new beginning.  With such perfect photography weather I couldn’t resist grabbing my camera.  Having renovated my home office just before the holidays I was busy making it my inspirational space.  Sprinkled in between all of this were movie days where I did nothing more than relax on the sofa and watch movie after movie.

As we start a new fresh year, I’m excited for what it might hold. Having set my goal for the year I’ve already got ideas flowing.

Did you have a glamorous festive break? What was your most favourite thing?
